Choosing an unmedicated birth can be a transformative experience. It empowers you to tap into your inner strength and achieve something extraordinary. The sense of accomplishment and control you gain can extend beyond childbirth, boosting your confidence and opening doors to new possibilities in life.

We recommend waiting until your baby is around 6 months old to introduce solid foods. Look for signs of readiness like unassisted sitting, teeth breaking through the gums, and increased interest in food. Start with foods that aren't too sweet like avocado or sweet potato to help your baby adjust to new flavors. Always consult your pediatrician for personalized advice.

A birth ball is a versatile tool used during labor to open up the pelvis, relieve pressure on the lower back, and help the baby move down. You can lean, bounce, or sit on it for comfort, and we also offer a peanut ball to place between your knees while side-lying to keep the pelvis open. These options provide support and relaxation through contractions, allowing for a smoother labor experience.

We provide a supportive space in the community for women seeking natural birth options, offering information and empowering clients to make informed choices about their family’s health. We connect clients with a network of care providers, including chiropractors, massage therapists, and mental health counselors, ensuring continuity of care. We’re proud to serve generations of families and to offer care to those who may have limited options elsewhere 💕

Both at our birth center and with home births, you can choose to labor or give birth in the water. Hydrotherapy through water immersion and water birth is a great way to help manage pain and reduce pressure on your hips and back, allowing for more relaxation during labor. Babies don’t take their first breath until they're lifted from the water, and in most cases, you can even deliver the placenta while still in the tub unless there's a need to monitor for excessive bleeding.

Prenatal nutrition isn’t just important for pregnancy and lactation—it lays the foundation for your body’s cellular function for life. Proper nutrients support your immune system, joints, organs, and overall health. Lactating mothers need about 500 extra calories daily and should focus on nutrient-dense foods like fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and meats to meet their needs.

A collaborative team approach allows us to combine our collective knowledge and experience for the best outcomes. Decisions are made together, not by just one person, ensuring comprehensive care. This also gives our clients the chance to connect with the entire staff throughout their journey!

A birth assistant provides the midwife with essential medical assistance, working alongside the midwife to ensure the safety of both the patient and the family. While a doula is trained and certified, they do not perform medical tasks. Instead, a doula focuses on providing emotional and physical support to the family throughout the birth process.

If you’re seeking a holistic approach to pregnancy care and birth, Celebrate Birth is a great choice for you! We provide comprehensive, personalized care, addressing all your questions and needs. You’ll have the freedom to move and eat during labor, enjoy the golden hour with your baby immediately after birth, and receive focused postpartum support and breastfeeding assistance.

Prenatal visits typically last around 30 minutes, but can be adjusted based on your needs. During these appointments, we’ll discuss how you're feeling, any questions or concerns, and check on baby’s movement, position, and heart rate. We’ll also review any lab work or ultrasound results. As your pregnancy progresses, you’ll have appointments every 4 weeks until 28 weeks, every 2 weeks until 35 weeks, and then weekly until delivery.
