We connect clients with a network of care providers, including chiropractors, massage therapists, and mental health counselors, ensuring continuity of care. Both at our birth center and with home births, you can choose to labor or give birth in the water. Hydrotherapy through water immersion and water birth is a great way to help manage pain and reduce pressure on your hips and back, allowing for more relaxation during labor. Babies don’t take their first breath until they're lifted from the water, and in most cases, you can even deliver the placenta while still in the tub unless there's a need to monitor for excessive bleeding.

Prenatal nutrition isn’t just important for pregnancy and lactation—it lays the foundation for your body’s cellular function for life. Proper nutrients support your immune system, joints, organs, and overall health. Lactating mothers need about 500 extra calories daily and should focus on nutrient-dense foods like fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and meats to meet their needs.

A collaborative team approach allows us to combine our collective knowledge and experience for the best outcomes. Decisions are made together, not by just one person, ensuring comprehensive care. This also gives our clients the chance to connect with the entire staff throughout their journey!

A birth assistant provides the midwife with essential medical assistance, working alongside the midwife to ensure the safety of both the patient and the family. While a doula is trained and certified, they do not perform medical tasks. Instead, a doula focuses on providing emotional and physical support to the family throughout the birth process.

If you’re seeking a holistic approach to pregnancy care and birth, Celebrate Birth is a great choice for you! We provide comprehensive, personalized care, addressing all your questions and needs. You’ll have the freedom to move and eat during labor, enjoy the golden hour with your baby immediately after birth, and receive focused postpartum support and breastfeeding assistance.

Prenatal visits typically last around 30 minutes, but can be adjusted based on your needs. During these appointments, we’ll discuss how you're feeling, any questions or concerns, and check on baby’s movement, position, and heart rate. We’ll also review any lab work or ultrasound results. As your pregnancy progresses, you’ll have appointments every 4 weeks until 28 weeks, every 2 weeks until 35 weeks, and then weekly until delivery.

We care for one another just as much as we care for our clients! Being in a supportive, loving environment allows us to provide the best care possible. We uplift and support each other every step of the way.

Our midwives work on a rotating schedule to ensure you receive attentive and personalized care from a familiar face. You'll have the opportunity to meet everyone on our team, including our midwives and assistants, so when the time comes, you won't have a stranger at your birth—just a dedicated team working together for your benefit.

You’ll have three postpartum care appointments after your baby is born. If you deliver at home or the birth center, we’ll visit you within 2 days to check on your recovery, bleeding, and blood pressure and conduct newborn labs and screenings. We’ll see you again at 2 weeks to support you during this often overwhelming time and monitor your and your baby’s progress, followed by a final visit at 6 weeks for lab work and any needed tests.

An epidural, administered by an anesthesiologist or CRNA, is a continuous medication drip into the epidural space that numbs from the waist down, the purpose being to eliminate labor pain. It's typically used in hospitals, as it requires continuous monitoring of the baby and can sometimes cause side effects like a drop in blood pressure or the baby's heart rate. Midwifery care emphasizes the connection between the mother and her body in labor and relies on natural pain relief techniques instead of epidurals.
